Can I get Banned from Discord

Can I get Banned from Discord?  Answer is "Yes"

Why ban users?

Users may be banned by server administrators or the Discord service for a number of reasons.  These may include but are not limited to:

Conduct and participate in campaigns on servers

Repeatedly targeting a user with unsolicited friend requests or messages

  Creating a spam account

  Sharing obscenity

Sharing content that violates copyright law

  Promoting self-harm or suicide

NSFW channels are not being properly labeled

  Doing something illegal

Now, I know that my readers will not be involved with any of the above attics and sometimes an administrator can be banned to the tune of an admin.  However, once you ban yourself, don’t forget to follow the rules and play well with others.

 How can I be banned?

There are 2 types of Discord Prohibited.

The first is a server ban, which means the administrator has banned you from individual chat servers.  When this happens you can no longer log in to that particular server but you can still connect to another server.

The second type is system-wide restrictions by discordant people.  This means you will not be able to connect to any server on the Discard service.

Now, let’s take a look at how Discord issues a user ban.

Conflicts follow their users in two ways: by username and IP address.

An IP address uses a network (including the Internet) to identify a connected device.  This allows the network to identify where information is being received from and what needs to be sent to it.

This means that if you change your username and try to log in to a Discord server, you will be banned, because the Discord system recognizes your IP address.

This prevents you from creating new accounts from the same computer, because your IP address is flagged and the server prevents you from connecting to the server.

The best way to ban Discord is to use a tool that may already be in your online toolkit: a virtual private network (VPN).  A VPN is a great way to unlock almost any online service and Discord is no exception.

When a user connects to a VPN server, the VPN temporarily assigns a new IP address to the user's device.  It appears in such a way that the user is connecting from somewhere else.  This location can be on the other side of the city or on the other side of the world.

The new IP address will allow you to sign up for Discord with a new user, providing access to the server you have banned.

Pro Tip: Make sure to create a completely different username.  Supervise new users, as well as server restrictions have been prepared by human administrators.  If your old username was "big_ppappa", creating a username of "big_ppappa_1" can avoid them.

Thanks all.
